About Us

I was born in Bermuda and lived there until I was 10 years old and many of my family members still live there. I've studied art and design since my school days and it’s now become my passion; a passion I feel is reflected in my work designing websites and advertising for clients all over the country from my base here in the Northwest of England.

The Social Gathering too, caters for people everywhere in the UK and came about because I'm getting married myself in August 2008 and my parents live in separate countries.

As I'm going to start planning my wedding a year in advance and my parents won't be here until a week or so before the event, I wanted to find a way that could keep everyone involved yet still capture the goings-on and all my thoughts and ideas.

Using my web designer skills to put everything on-line seemed a great way to go about it and The Social Gathering was born.

Now everyone will be able to see what I'm doing, how the plans are going, read my daily comments and look at photos. It's a two-way thing as well because everyone can post their own comments, ideas and suggestions and nobody ever need feel left out of the preparation process for our fabulous day.

Philosophy

TSG aims to create an on-line service that looks and feels as good as the day itself is special. We don’t use templates, we use your ideas and themes so every wedding journal we create will be unique.

No two weddings are the same, so why shouldn’t an online journal be equally as unique?
